Keerthana Rani Balakumar is a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer currently working as an Intern at Unique Identification Authority of India. She holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Amrita University. Keerthana has a strong interest in data structures and algorithms, database management, and big data analytics. She has excellent communication skills and is an efficient collaborator, able to work effectively in a global environment. Her experience includes analyzing the technologies and methodologies used by UIDAI, the world’s largest biometric identity system, to store the huge data of the nation. She has also worked as a Summer Intern at Wipro, where she successfully completed a project study on “Analysis Aerial Surveillance using UAVs” under the Smart Cities and applications domain of the organization. Keerthana has also worked as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer Intern at Skyrim Innovation, where she developed an artificial intelligent model that can do image recognition of real-world data using machine learning algorithms. The model continuously senses the surrounding dynamic information through the camera, clicks the image, extracts the features, compares it with the existing data, and constantly learns through deep learning. In addition to her technical skills, Keerthana has strong leadership skills and is a collaborative team player. She is also highly organized and has excellent time management skills.
